Arriving to Taiga Resort

from the oulu airport

You can book the transportation from us. It takes 35 minutes to drive from the airport to Taiga Resort. You can also take a taxi or local bus first to Oulu city center and change to the bus to Haukipudas.

from oulu Railway station

Oulu railway station is located in Oulu city center near the bus station. You can book a transportation from us, it takes 15 minutes to drive to Taiga Resort. There are taxis at the station, or local bus from THE BUS STATION, you need to change the bus once to Haukipudas.

  • What kind of accommodation do you have?

    Taiga Resort Holiday Village offers a peaceful and nature-friendly environment. We are located along the Kiiminkijoki River in Haukipudas, just a 15-minute drive from Oulu. Coming here feels like visiting a cottage or your grandma’s house. Our traditional and simply decorated rooms accommodate 2-4 people and are equipped with a private bathroom and shower. The rooms are situated in two different accommodation buildings, Unelma (the Dream) and Toivola (The place of hope). Breakfast is included and sauna, activities are available upon request.

    Our cozy family-owned hotel is located near the center of Haukipudas, close to local services, and only a 15-minute drive from Oulu. We offer four well-equipped room types, ranging from standard double rooms to large family apartments with a private sauna. The Lankku Steak House à la carte restaurant is located downstairs, next to the Samantta restaurant, where the hotel breakfast is served.

  • Do you offer packages?

    Yes we do for groups at the moment from 10 people up, but surely yo can request a package for smaller groups also. We operate as a local DMC offering our own accommodation and restaurant services with activities operated by our selves and our partners.
