Activities and experiences in Taiga resort
Taiga Resort also offers activities for groups, FITs and individual travelers. We organize engaging and fun activities perfect for team days or recreational afternoons. For traveler groups, we provide excursions to nearby nature all year round, including snowshoeing, hiking, chasing the northern lights, berry picking, fat biking etc.
Our sauna cabin is ideal for relaxing sauna evenings, we recommend to book also the hot tub by the river.
We also rent snowshoes, winter overalls, and boots for our guests to use during their stay.

Book your sauna evening at Taiga Resort by the riverside. In addition to the sauna, you can also rent a hot tub for your enjoyment for 200 €.

We organize snowshoeing trips for groups and individual travelers min 2 person. The trip includes equipment, guided snowshoeing through the forest, a break by an outdoor fire, grilling sausages, and a hot drink.

SNOWFUN DAY
Join us for a joyful winter adventure in Virpiniemi! Our friendly guide will meet you on site, where you can try a variety of fun snow activities. Feel the excitement as you walk up the hill and slide down on sleds — laughter guaranteed!
You can also try fat biking and snowshoeing, or simply relax by the fire, grill sausages, and enjoy a warm drink.
This day is a true local experience — just like how Finnish families spend their winter days outdoors, having fun together in the snow.
The drive from the resort takes only about 10 minutes.
